Five days in and I feel awesome. If the gym scale is right I've lost three pounds, we'll see on Thursday when I do my official weigh in.

I have found a bunch of old pictures of me and am putting them up around the house to use as motivation. I'm also putting a list of chores on the fridge and on the pantry.

i get to go to the doctor to find out if the fact i have been feeling like poop on a stick lately has anything to do with the massive diesel exhaust leak coming into the cab of my work truck. all signs point to yes. i'm not even allowed to drive that truck right now according to my boss. makes sense that the last month at the gym was the most unmotivated ever. i was going to go join today, but the dizziness and headache are pretty bad.

once i get this sorted out, i'ma train like its the end of the world or something

Been on a diet for about a month now, heavy on greens and occasional white meat. Started at 275, weighed in this morning at 254.2.

This is also my method.
+1 I really have no idea what I weigh...no scale in the house. Well, none that'll weigh more than ounces I'm like 6'1 and I've been somewhere in the range of 200-300 pounds for the past number of years. It will likely remain a mystery until my autopsy or the next time I weigh my car

I've worked my way down to the last hole on my belt and it's pretty loose. Weight loss is expensive...now I need a new fucking belt.

This is so important. I've swam 3 of the last four days. Today I'll be doing weights and see if I can do the treadmill again.

I'm down a notch on my belt already though!

Are you using them like a sonogram? Put a speaker up to your stomach and kill the fat cells off?

I bet if you did 800 miles a day you'd be ridiculously skinny in no-time!

Yesterday was shaping up to be rough on the diet, but I apparently don't quite have it figured out what I can and can not eat. At the end of the evening I had enough room for a 1.5 oz gin and diet tonic. I made it in a super fancy glass with limes - it was visually appealing and very satisfying. Still had points left but wasn't hungry at the end of the day.

I am going to get into shape. this IS going to happen.
Awesome. That's the spirit!

Me? I spent the long weekend with my Mommy (who is an awesome baker) and had an out of town gig. I'm sure I put on a few in beer chugging alone- not a great way to start the workouts. I bought my cleanse and my iodine supplements though so I'm ready to rock for next week. This week, I'll try to lose what I gained over the weekend by doing some yoga, light weights and maybe bounce on the mini trampoline for 20 minutes a day.

weigh in: This week I'm up 3 pounds.

I ran again Sat ...much better but still a long ways to go. Weather's crappy again, so back to other stuff- jumping rope in the garage tonite then body weight lunges & squats.

Been eating good, not been good on the exercise, though (it was raining during the weekend), I only ran my 3 mile route once and went on a walk with the wife once.

Still the same poundage.

I hadn't planned to start until today (I knew this weekend was bad news), but I did kick the soccer ball around some and restrained from my usual weekend drinking.

I had a salad for lunch which sucked. I wanted the steak and cheese!

I started a really effective training program on Monday (done it before, and MAN, it's exhausting, and it really takes a toll on your body, but it's also incredibly effective).

I'm weighing in a 190lbs at about 5'8", and though I'm of a muscular build (I've got a high lean body mass), I'd like to drop about 10lbs of fat and replace it with muscles. I don't have a time frame, though, I'll just have to make sure I eat enough proteins, and follow the program, which involves three training sessions a week at an hour and and a half for six weeks at a time. I don't expect encountering any problems with it, and should have met my goal of weighing 195 pounds at the end of two six-weeks periods.
