Shogun 2 is amazing, and I'll gladly run a co-op campaign with anyone here if you want to learn the ropes.

I wish someone would take Doom and simply convert it to modern 3D models and textures.

Leave everything else exactly the same. Plot, gameplay, everything.

You may enjoy the Serious Sam games then, they're on Humble Bundle- all of 'em for 4 bucks. They're as old school as it gets.

They do have high res texture packs out there for Doom3D if you're wanting to replay the original game in a bit more tolerable circumstance.

Oh yeah, version 1.666 of course.

Looks like Origin's got BF3 up for $5. I'm tempted to pick it up at that price.

It's been 3 years since I've logged in-- had SWTOR last christmas. I resubscribe to an MMO every 18 months like clockwork. I'll get bored of it and cancel in 2-3 weeks, same as I always do. Pretty cool right now being so high level though, I get to solo-run all the cool old instances I was never able to do when they were level capped.

Every once in a while I think, "maybe I should fire it up again." Then I come to my senses. I'd quit, then about a year later fired up to do Pandaria when my friend gave me a scroll. Broke out my 80 warlock and got him to 88 and leveled a panda monk to 40. I couldn't even get through my 90 days and bowed out again.

T3ch thought it was funny that I knew the month and year I stopped playing. A junkie knows when he got clean.

I'm a junkie 24/7, my addictions just change. It doesn't really matter that it happens to be WoW at this moment. If I weren't doing this I'd be adding onto my 1200 hours in FM13 (which beat my 1100 hours of FM12), or spending all night on various online forums, or be researching every new aspect of whatever random new hobby I think I'm gonna take up but get bored of by the time I buy things for, or alphabetizing everything in the house, or....

I have issues. I think that's part of why I like drinkin so much, it helps tone me down. The only problem is I can rarely constructively aim an obsession... I'd be a leading pioneer in several fields by now if I could.

Looks like Gog may have Torchlight free for download for a couple of days.

I can't verify the link as it's blocked at work.
