2872 FM for t3ch
2306 KF for me (that includes passing out a couple of times at night and speccing)

I dunno about it.
I can guarantee you at least 1/3 of the hours in FM are with me not even in the house, let alone watching TV while it runs through simulations, alt-tabbed and on forums, etc.

It's still a significant amount of hours played though so don't get me wrong, I'm still a loser addicted to a spreadsheet game... Just saying out the numbers aren't to be taken at face value.

So you have about 2k then. I'm guessing I have around 2k or 1.9k of actually playing (not speccing, waiting in lobbies, etc).

So, for the record, Steam In-Home Streaming so I can play using my low-power HTPC computer through the surround-sound system in the living room on the 120" projection screen is kind of badass. In case you were wondering.

I think I'm coming up on my every-year-or-two playthrough of the ME series. I'm installing a graphics upgrade mod for ME1 and it's playing the soundtrack as it installs - the music from this series is so fucking amazing. Some of the best symphonic scores ever. Like John Williams/Star Wars good.

What's a good game that's akin to Skyrim and not MMO?

I've played the Elder Scrolls for probably 15 years now and love them... Definitely my favorite series of all time. Just don't like MMOs and now I don't know what to play.

Akin in terms of what aspects? The fantasy setting, the scope of the stories, the open gameplay, etc.?

Yes. haha. Really, I generally liked all of the main storylines but I really liked that you could go anywhere and do anything and still move along in the games. Daggerfall, I barely remember. I thought the character-building aspect of Morrowind was overly complex and Obilvion was sometimes flat out hard. Skyrim was, to me, the perfect balance between the two and probably the best game I've ever played.

If the gameplay aspects are what you like most, and you're open to settings other than fantasy, Fallout 3 & Fallout New Vegas are obvious choices.

It seems my Destiny career is slowly coming to an end. With no sequel and DLCs in the near future, I can finally put down this game after 1500 hours.

Ok, I have 700 hours in destiny, which seems insane. You win.

I still like Trials and IB.

I've only raided a single digit number of times due to the difficulty of blocking out time that won't be interrupted, but those are fun.

Out of the FPS Fallouts, New Vegas is the best. New Vegas > Fallout 3 > Fallout 4.

ME1's combat was always cludgy, but playing on insanity really highlights just how bad it is (especially compared to ME2 and ME3, the latter being one of my favorite combat systems ever). I've died a dozen times or so, all but one or two of them from bad pathfiding/stupid AI/stupid GUI things.

Don't do that when he's right. It happens so rarely.

New Vegas = Obsidian. Obsidian = Black Isle. Black Isle = Authentic Fallout. Therefore, New Vegas = Authentic Fallout. QED.

I struggled on normal in ME1 due to clunky controls. Gameplay wise, I find the game barely enjoyable. I view it as a necessity to get the story rolling, kind of a chore, if you will. The moment you finish it and then start ME2 is like waking up from a bad dream. Story is amazing though, so it can't be skipped.

Pretty much all I do is raid with my clan. 319 on all three toons.
As far as pvp, I do Iron Banner when it comes around, but Trials is just too intense for me. I do it for the bounties, but that's about it.

He's not wrong though. NV is the best of the modern era Fallout games, at least from a world building and story perspective. It IS Fallout. Fallout 3 is Oblivion with guns in a 50's petticoat.
