T3po, I was in washington dulles the other day. The terminal smelled funny. I think it was your fault.
Before your jump to Ukraine? Would make sense. And yeah probably.

I'm ridiculously excited about something for the first time in a very, very long time. Solid people in this world, I can't ever forget that. It's going to be a fucking tough holiday season but I feel like I can breathe again.

After.

I'll be there again on Sunday.

Also, I didn't think anything of it at the time, but I accidentally walked into the ladies restroom (jetlag ) and someone called me Steve followed by a string of obscenities.

I had a good time in Thailand, but am excited about getting back to Melbourne.

I'm quite lucky to live in Australia.

Also, quite surprisingly, I met almost no other Australians here, but SO many Dutch people.

Also, I'll never understand people who are claiming the world as we know it is on the verge of ending.

One of the gardening forums I'm on is full of people claiming that fossil fuel use will result in a global war that will destroy the planet. Before this year is out.

Sure, the future is unknowable, and it is scary sometimes, and there are worriesome things out there, but 2012 global conflict due to lack of oil? Destruction of all know habitable world in the next decade? Really?

So I posted a video to You Tube from my helmet camera on a motorcycle trip and stuck some music in the background, like I see tons of people do, but the Piracy Nazis auto detect software muted all sound because some of the clips I used had others music in it. Yet I see many videos that actually have the artist and title listed under the video with a link to buy the song. Is this a difference in artist / management agreements? Why was mine struck down and my friends still up? I'll never understand these copyright rules, and I think the lawyers and license holders like it that way...

Comment withdrawn.

I've been bitching about things far too much lately, I should really be more appreciative.

My vintage Demeter VTMP2 pre died the other day , they said it would most likely need a cap change (since it's over 15 years old) and recommended tubes as well , like 95 bucks for shuguangs and 160 for caps , pfff , So I replaced all the caps in the power supply and I have fresh NOS Mullards and RCA's , still doesn't work ... Sadly it shipped back to them today .

Dear civil engineer,

No, we're not building a piano. It's a bladed dirt road in the wilderness. So shit or get off the pot.

I didn't mean that I personally know the human beings (though I know Larry Pollack from Aero quite well) - I meant I know who the people are and how dedicated to their craft they are.

But I love your response.
