I didn't ask, but I'll assume hybrid first. He said they won't be just straight reissues and will be somewhat updated from the originals.

last I spoke with Paul they didn't have any plans for a tube amp. He sounded pretty adamant at the time. I do realize that things change though.

I was kind of assuming a hybrid, but, hey, a guy can hope.

I should have asked whether it'd be all tube (did you talk to him at NAMM too?), all I asked was about V-Type.

At any rate, I'd really like a Trace! They sounded great!

Sorry man, I liked them even more than the Genz. And the Genz sounded fantastic!
