I have a wood blank all glued up, been sitting for a year. I just can't for the life of me come up with a body shape I like. I would love it if you all would give me a few ideas. I will be a five string with two Bartolini PU's. It will also have an Aguilar OBP1 pre amp. I want a shape that has the top horn look of a rick and the rest is wide open.....Help me please:dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

Funny, I thought you would have just said, "Whatever I don't have." :bolt:

Personally, I don't know that I have a favorite body shape. Generally, I don't like singlecuts, but it doesn't sound like that's an option :D

I think the basic Fender style is pretty hard to beat.

Agree. Leo got it right the first time, especially with the offset-waist J body.

Although I own an Alembic Orion (I like that style!), I really, really like the body style of the Alembic Epic. Slightly shorter and thicker top horn, chopped off bottom horn.

Hmm, I like Fenders but not for their body style. I like 'em smaller and lighter.

DustinI'm not a fan of single cuts, takes a great one for me to like it

I gotta admit, Spectors are seriously comfy basses.

The euro I have is concave in the back. My paunch fits right in there.. and the neck, the weight, the balance... damn nice

BA is a smart man. Chuck's had too many strings on it, so I'm posting my own choice.

If my Spector sounded like my G&L I'd never put it down.
