Life is not complete with out a Vintage Ibanez Megathread, so here is a start on the way to drooling over some of the best basses ever made.

This is my 1981 Ibanez Roadster. P/J setup. DiMarzio hot pups. Passive/Active switch. Maple board. 2x2 angled headstock. Very well balanced, very fast and tone to die for. One of my favorites.

The rig shown is a Eden WT-300. The cab is a 2x12 DIY conversion from a Radio Shack guitar cab I did the previous winter. It was computer modelled with WinISD and loaded with 2 Eminence Delta 12LFA drivers in an optimized ported design. It is a great match to head and to this bass.

Post your vintage Ibby pics!!!!

I sold this beautiful '82 Musician to Funkster about 3 months ago. That is a classic look and feel. Neck through, ebony board. A little heavier than my Roadster but it had the tone thing really going on.

I own a purple RB850, 2 ATK300s and a black Roadster from '81. That last one needed some work. Skip helped me out with the electronics and it's done now.

I thought you had three ATKs?

Here's mine.... ATK 305 (Haico sez it's a prototype-- the serial # sez it's made in Korea, but it has no logo on the headstock) and RB760.

I have one of those. I love it. I don't think I'll ever sell it.
