Have I been BANNED and Allan forgot to tell me? I tried five times to log in under "slimwhitmanfan" and it banished me (in so many words).

Anyway, I am back.

Guess I'll just keep this name. Some schmuck on that "other" forum has had good luck using it.:D

We are passing through Birmingham in a couple of weeks on our way to South Carolina. Our oldest daughter is having our first grandchild (boy), making me feel quite old, thank you very much. :) I wish we had more time to detour a little, but not this trip. My teachers will come back for a few days, then I go on a one-week vacation and will miss the students coming back - the whole first week. I have never done that before, in 28+ years. A lot of the kids already know that I will be gone that week (from church and from visiting me at the school during the summer).

Anyway, maybe one of these days I will have lots of time and will make that trek to Decatur - maybe riding my motorcycle!
