I'm wanting to change the "D" style tuners on my DC Pro bass to a Gotoh or
Wilkison type tuner, does anyone what is the correct diameter size of the
pole on the tuner used on this bass.

Are you looking for an original retrofit? Unless it's an original, who
cares? Just drill a bigger hole. Tuners run anything between a 1/2 - 3/4"
hole.

For size, weight and accuracy, I'd go with Sperzel.
