I had a great time!!! The whole family was there... my folks, my sisters and their spouses and my youngest sister Stephanie's two kids Cedar and Kaya.
The area my parents bought property is really quite beautiful. I will post some pictures in a few minutes here when I get sorted through them.
What'd you all do?

Very cool!
I went to the OKC Arts Festival with the girlfriend yesterday, worked on a freelance project and other than that, I just relaxed. Not too bad, all in all.
According to the police report, I had a hell of a great time...

Sounds great Rachael.
My weekend was a little hectic and draining - but all good. Spent some time with The Flesh on saturday before we both headed off for our seperate weekends. Then we played a private gig for one of our devoted fans' birthdays - we thought it was going to be a shitty one with lots of people wondering why we were booked but it turned into absolute carnage and we all had the best time. Neil, the birthday boy, ended up singing most of the songs and we even managed to slip in 'Jump Around' into Werk Jerk. Too many horny 18 year olds for my healthy heart rate, but all good. Bed late.
Up early. Did 10 hours in the studio working on mixes. Curry. Home. Sleeping.
Was a good weekend indeed.

I cleaned up the disgusting moldy dirt floor basement at our old house. It sucked and my allergies were suffering.
But as of tomorrow all of our ties to that place are done and we can just kick back and enjoy the new homestead, so I've got that going for me. :)
Ok, actually, I painted the asbestos shingles on our front porch, sawed off tree limbs, trimmed rosebushes and pulled dead things out of the ground. Sunday night I dismantled the alumni painting exhibition and packed very large paintings into very fucking heavy shipping crates.

Played first gig with our new singer. Very successful. That was Friday night. Saturday was just chores and Sunday was dinner with the in-laws.

What impresses me the most is your ability to play using only one hand!

My toilet got stopped up (damm kids). Couldn't find my new plunger I bought 3 weeks ago (damm kids). My handle didn't jiggle right (damm kids). My entire BRAND NEW wooden floor in the bedroom got under almost 1 inch of water. I'm damm lucky I have an old Green Machine carpet cleaner with superior Suckng action.

You know, having kids jiggle your handle is illegal in some states... probably not Tejas, however.

Weekend was alright. Went to a party on Friday and split a bottle of rye with my friend for the cost of mix ($3 CDN!). On Sunday our football season began, and for our first game we ended up tying. Went out with some friends after the game, ate, cruised, talked, had fun. The Dark Ages of university are now over for me (no more full class loads of engineering, math, and science classes) and I only have 3 (easy) classes to go. Naturally, they're spread over 2 semesters :(, so I won't be done until Christmas, but it gives me time to take classes I'd otherwise not be allowed / able to take, like Spanish and Latin. It also gives me enough time for a good part time job and lots of partying :D.
I also turn 23 tomorrow and am throwing a kegger at my place next weekend. Life is good :).

I had both the good and bad... Last week I got rear ended coming home from work and the offender's insurance company is going to total my one and only car. So on Saturday, we spent the whole day looking at cars we really can't afford. Yesterday was band practice and it was great. I also got emails wanting me to play in another band as well...
Glad you had such a great time!!

:(
I'll see that, and raise you.
3 hours of sleep on Friday
3 hours on Saturday
0 hours on Sunday
Spent Sunday night from 10 pm to 4 am with daughter as she threw up, got the dry heaves, and then got one hell of an allergic reaction. Then spent 4 am to 8 am at the hospital.
Throw in a gig at a big bar with hardly any people in it and you've got the makings of a great weekend. The Dargie Bongo did kick ass though.
I'm glad at least somebody had fun this weekend.

Awesome, very geeky weekend.
I went to a roleplaying convention with my SO and her sister.
I had not played for several years. It was a blast.
Heroic Fantasy game all day long, played a dwarf leading a bodyguard team.
They thought I played ok I guess, ended up as a NPC for the real size spy game in the evening.
Ctuhlu on sunday, as a marine looking for a fallen satellite on a deserted island.
Then a long long sleep was in order.

So. Here's a question.
How do you actually go about playing one of these games?
Like, what's the goal?

Eh, half and half really.
It was cool b/c me, my best friend, and some of his online paranormal friends got together for ghost hunting/paranormal investigation around the area.
It kinda sucked b/c we really didn't get to do as much as me and my friend would've preferred. Apparently his paranormal friends don't show their interest in it as highly as we do. Plus, I found out Sunday our church's pianist's husband was diagnosed with some sort of terminal cancer and has been given about 3 months to live. :(

I bet! I've heard nothing but horror stories.
I've heard that you're not supposed to suck on anything for a while, including straws and cigarettes, or you can get a dry socket.
My old roommate got one of those, she said that they are the worst.
You should have gotten pain killers, and lots of them.
Mine, luckily, are scheduled to grow in perfectly. :)

Yeah, I'm lucky I didn't get one with all the bleeding I did, IIRC that increase your chances.

I wasted time in Belgrade, Serbia, for two days, around seeing friends and waiting for a business meeting on Monday.
Ate a bunch of ice cream.
Went back to my old neighborhood in New Belgrade to see if I could replace my favorite pic from nine years ago of the sign of the intersection of "[Boulevard] Vladimira Lenjina" with "[Boulevard] Dzhona Kennedija" - but no, they replaced Lenin with a physicist/inventor named something like Mihail Bubin.
I got two painful blisters walking around so much.
I hadn't seen a theater movie in months, and my best option was "Bridge to Terabithia." I went to see it anyway.
And.
The really annoying part is that I was and am on an antibiotic and can't drink.
