I try to write lyrics from time to time, and occasionally, the bums i play with like them and we make a song out of it (then we forget to play them after 3 weeks and they die...).

But anyway, I just got myself a book on songwriting and I'm going to make the effort to get better. Anybody go to a good songwriting forum? The Ebassist.com of songwriting is what I'm looking for!

Can't wait to get all lovey dovey with an acoustic guitar and chop off my testicles...

There is a songwriting forum on the HC boards.

Also, I think more than a few eBassers are songwriters, aspiring or otherwise.

I'm not very good, lyrically, but if you have musical questions I'd be happy to give some suggestions or ideas.:)

Ditto. I write too, I just don't really ever finish anything to my satisfaction.

I'd be happy to respond to anything you have. :)

I've written many a tune. I'm a card carryin' member of Red Sox Nation. Does that count?? :dunno:

:D

Seriously Otis, happy to help with any songwriting questions. My songs don't hold a candle to Mr. Nyswonger's, but they're still songs ;)
